The Communication Strategies Master’s Degree Course addresses the complexity of today’s communication phenomena. The theoretical and practical training prepares students to respond to the speed and multidisciplinary needs found in various areas of communication. You will learn how to conceive and deepen your interdisciplinary research processes and analysis while implementing strategies using IT and multimedia tools. Through a complete understanding of public, social, and business communication materials for media and visual studies, public relations, online, and ICT fields students can pursue careers in marketing, advertising, and publishing within various fields of communications.

Characteristics and objectives
The course aims to provide students with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for: the analysis of communication in different fields; the acquisition of methods for designing communication projects and strategies; the creation of projects based on the analysis and application of communication strategies; the acquisition of the ability to design and carry out interdisciplinary research on different communcation fields; the mastery of computer and multimedial skills that are necessary to design communication projects; the acquisition of writing skills; the mastery of a EU language besides Italian.

Employment opportunities
The degree enables students for planning, research and analysis activities that require the ability to work autonomously in the management of projects, such as, for example, analysts in research centers and institutions analysing projects and monitoring complex communication processes (both for research purposes and for providing services to public an private organizations). The graduate students find employments mainly in the areas of communication and marketing, relating to all activities of public, social and business communication, and for public and non-profit institutions and for private companies. Other frequent employment areas are: advertising, information and publishing. Employments include: head of communication and marketing, working mainly for private organizations, head of press office, working both in the private and public sectors. Other employments relate to business, social and public communication, but also head of public relations, technical writer, project manager, communication manager and event organization for the area of communication and marketing; account executive, account supervisor, strategic planner, media planner e copywriter for advertising; web content manager and web project manager for web communication and ICT. Further employment opportunities can be found in international organizations and non governative organizations, but also in business and marketing, sales and human resources.
