For Academic Year 2026/2027, you will need to submit your application within one of the following calls:
- Call One: 2 November 2025 – 2 February 2026
- Call Two: 2 March 2026 – 2 May 2026
- Call Three: 2 June 2025 – 2 August 2026 (only for EU students and non-EU students residing in Italy)
Environmental protection and land management in favor of sustainable development are at the heart of this master degree course, the only one in this sector in Italy delivered in English; it trains professionals capable of designing and managing engineering solutions with minimal impact on social and physical-environmental contexts. Thanks to scientific and professional knowledge of the interrelationships between various physical, biological and chemical processes involved in complex environmental systems, you will be able to design works aimed at the treatment and disposal of waste and at defending the environment from extreme events, you will know how to prevent situations of degradation and risk to the environment, assessing and controlling the safety of the territory and environmental quality by safeguarding the protection of natural resources, operating in both public and private contexts.
Double degree opportunity
Students enrolled in this Master's degree programme will be offered the opportunity to apply both for a double degree programme in Environmental Engineering with the renowned Tsinghua University (China) and the opportunity to participate in a T.I.M.E. double degree programme with several member universities between Europe and Asia. At the end of the programme, students will obtain a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering (UNIPD) and a Master's Degree awarded by the host university.
