Students will learn how to reflection on the ways in which knowledge of cognitive psychology supports the development of assessment tools, intervention, and cognitive enhancement throughout life. The application of cognitive psychology is addressed by analysing the cognitive mechanisms involved in non-psychological professional fields. Characteristics and objectives
Pursuant to Law no. 163 of 8 November 2021 and subsequent implementation decrees, the holders of a Master's degree in Applied Cognitive Psychology are qualified to work as professional psychologists in Italy. Both lead to acquiring knowledge about assessing, devising and implementing interventions to promote well-being and prevent psychological distress in different contexts either traditional such as clinical, in the schools, in successful aging, in decision making or innovative such as cyberpsychology, traffic and environmental psychology, designing and evaluating user-friendly devices.
