Unipd construction: recent achievements
The new complexes, from departmental headquarters to research centers and teaching centers, tell a lot about the way in which our University evolves and prepares for the future, aiming to create more functional, sustainable spaces integrated into the urban fabric.

The educational center , designed by the international architecture studio Settanta7, was born as a work of urban regeneration and sustainable architecture and is now a reference point for teaching, applied research and technology transfer.

The spaces are designed to carry out activities in the trapped ion quantum computer laboratory, in a Physics of the Universe laboratory, in the Laser laboratory and in 7 other laboratory environments.
It is a place designed for research, but also for training: here students can develop advanced technological skills and experience science "in the field", in close contact with the latest generation of experimental equipment and methods.

After the restorations, the new "A. Fusinato" Student House, the new campus of the Galilean School of Higher Education of the University of Padua, was inaugurated in April 2026. The complex, located in the heart of the city between two Jewish cemeteries in an urban context of medieval origin, was chosen by the University of Padua for an important investment oriented towards sustainable architecture. The construction also included the return to the citizens of a large, permeable and freely usable green area, designed as a new open space for all.
