Governing bodies of doctoral programmes
Supervisors in PhD courses
Each doctoral student is assigned a research topic, a Supervisor and one or more co-supervisors. Under their supervision, the training agreement and research project is developed.
The Supervisor has the following duties:
- inform the Board of Lecturers annually of the doctoral student's progress, expressing an opinion on progression to the following year of the Course and on admission to thesis assessment for the award of the degree;
- report any critical situations immediately to the Coordinator who, if necessary, will inform the Board of Lecturers.
