The course trains new professionals capable of playing the role of leader, at national and international level, in the analysis, monitoring and mitigation of the risks associated with calamitous phenomena with hydrological and geological origin: phenomena related to excess water (floods and landslides) and lack of it (drought events).
The training course is focused on the understanding and modeling of geological-hydrological-agro-forestry systems that are able to manage on a national, continental and global scale, the hazard associated with them and the impacts on society, in the many scenarios determined by climate change. After graduating, you will be able to work in the public or private sector, in the field of planning, land management, insurance and re-insurance, research and in governmental and non-governmental organizations at national and international level.
