Tuition fees and concessions

Starting from the academic year 2025/2026, in order to access the Degree Programmes in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, and Veterinary Medicine, it is necessary to enrol in an open semester: www.unipd.it/semestre-aperto.

The enrolment fee is divided into three bands:

• 250 euros for students with an ISEE above 30,000 euros or who do not submit the ISEE declaration within the required deadlines;
• 200 euros for students with an ISEE above 22,000 and less than or equal to 30,000 euros, provided that they submit their ISEE certification by the deadline set for enrolment;
• full exemption for students with an ISEE of less than or equal to 22,000 euros, provided that they submit their ISEE certification by the deadline set for enrolment.
  
   

Those who, at the end of the open semester, enrol in one of the Degree Programmes in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, and Veterinary Medicine, or in a Degree Programme other than those recognised as “related” pursuant to Ministerial Decree 418/2025, are required to pay the annual University fees, in accordance with the Call for applications on Fees and Exemptions a.y. 2026-2027 (including the regional fee for the right to education and stamp duty), with deduction of the enrolment fee already paid.

• If the filter semester was attended at the University of Padua, the amount actually paid will be deducted up to the total amount due as the all-inclusive single fee.
• If the filter semester was attended at a different University, on the basis of the ISEE submitted by the student for the reduction of student fees for the academic year 2026-2027, the amount due for enrolment in the filter semester will be deducted, according to the bands indicated above.
• In any case, no refunds are provided for amounts paid for enrolment in the filter semester at other universities if the amount paid for the filter semester exceeds the amount due as the all-inclusive single fee at the University of Padua.

For those who instead enrol in a "related course”, referred to in Article 8 of Ministerial Decree no. 418 of 2025, (the list is available on the page www.unipd.it/semestre-aperto) the all-inclusive single fee due will be reduced by 50% of the amount (recalculated on the basis of the second semester) and in that case no deduction is provided for the amount paid for enrolment in the filter semester.
