Thesis proposals
3-D Motion Analysis Laboratory
1. Reaching and prehension. Clinical applications: assessment of upper limb function in patients with neurodegenerative movement disorders pre and post rehabilitation (agreement with IRCCS Medea, Dr. Gabriella Paparella Physician Physiatrist).
2. Facial expressions of emotions. Possible clinical applications: functional assessment of facial expressiveness in patients with Moebius or Parkinson's syndrome.
3. Gait cycle in elderly users. Possible clinical applications: search for predictors of cognitive aging.
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) Laboratory
Study of neural correlates of digital skills (e.g.touchscreen interaction) using TMS and motor evoked potential (MEP) recording.
