Research interests fall within social cognitive psychology and political psychology, and include:\n\n- Communication and persuasion, focusing on strategies such as moral framing, the promotion of eco-sustainable behaviors, and the role of nonverbal communication.\n\n- Attitude formation and change, examining the psychological mechanisms underlying opinion and behavior shifts.\n\n- Development of implicit and explicit intergroup attitudes, particularly toward ethnic and gender groups, during childhood and adolescence.\n\n- Differences between conservatives and liberals, with respect to basic cognitive processes and moral judgment.\n\n- The role of morality in social judgment, exploring how moral values and beliefs shape interpersonal evaluations and decisions.

Below are some topics for possible theses (both master's and bachelor's):

1) Implicit and explicit effects of different personalized communication strategies (framing and tailoring) in promoting the adoption of sustainable eating behaviors (particularly reducing meat consumption and openness to alternatives, consumption of seasonal products)

2) The role of non-verbal communication of socializing agents in the development of interethnic and gender attitudes in children.
