Research Area

The general aim of my research is the implementation of ecologically-based management systems of arthropod pests attacking cultivated plants. My research is focused on basic as well more applied aspects necessary to the development of sustainable solution in pest management.

Integrated pest management and biocontrol tactics:
o Spatio-temporal dynamics of pest and their natural enemies.
o IPM in ornamental crops under greenhouse.
o Biology of invasive pests of importance for fruit orchards and vineyard systems.

Current project:
1. “ Regional program for the management of invasive pest in fruit crops ” granted by Regione Veneto (DGR n. 611 del 19 maggio 2020). 2020-2023, Principal investigator.

2. “Strategies and low impact tools for the management of the invasive pests Halyomorpha halys in fruit orchards- ALIEN.STOP”, granted by Rural development program of Regione Emilia Romagna. 2014-2020, Principal investigator.
