Renata Clerici graduated from Catholic University of Milan in Political Sciences; she was Associate Professor of Social Statistic at University of Padua, Department of Statistical Sciences. She has been teaching Demography and Statistics in the Faculties of Economics of Milan (S. Cuore) and Venice (Ca' Foscari),in the Faculties of Education and Statistical Sciences of Padova, and in the Degree Courses of SPIGI and FISPPA Departments.
Her research activity concerned various issues: family and fertility, territorial mobility and population aging, the diffusion of statistical culture and the teaching of Statistics in primary school. She focused her research activity on socio-educational issues: the evaluation of the quality of the didactics and professional outcomes of university programs, drop-outs and effectiveness of tutoring in higher education. These studies have been performed using mixed methods approaches.
She was a member of the Italian Association for Population Studies (AISP), Italian Society of Economics Demography and Statistics (SIEDS), Classification and Data Analysis Group (CLADAG),Italian Statistical Society (SIS), International Association for Statistics Education (IASE).
Nowadays she is Senior Scholar of Padova University.
