He obtained the MS in Work and Organizational Psychology, a post-graduate specialization degree in Psychological Testing and the Ph.D. in Personality and Social Psychology at the University of Padova. Moreover, he obtained a post-graduate specialization degree in Human Resources Management at the University of Castellanza. Appointed as Assistant Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Padova, Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology (FISPPA) in 2011, he has been, since 2015, Associate Professor. As Adjunct Professor, he taught Social Psychology (2005-2008), Advanced Research Methodology in Social Psychology (2008) and Psychological Testing (2011) at the University of Padua. Since 2012 he has been teaching Social Psychology and Basic Computer Skills at the University of Padova. He spent short periods as Visiting Researcher at the University of Rotterdam (NL) and at the University of Bergen (NO).
He was a member of the Faculty and Governing Council of the PhD Course in Psychological Sciences at the University of Padova (2017-2021). Starting from 2022, he is Faculty member of the PhD Course in Social Sciences: Interactions, Communication, Cultural Constructions at the University of Padova.
He is a member of the Editorial Board of ‘Giornale Italiano di Psicologia' and 'Psicologia sociale’ (Il Mulino, Bologna).
He serves as ‘ad hoc’ reviewer for national and international academic journals, e.g.: European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology; International Journal of Nursing Studies; Journal of Applied Social Psychology; Journal of Community & Applied Social Psychology; Journal of Economic Psychology; Leadership; Psicologia Sociale; Ricerche di Psicologia; Bollettino di Psicologia Applicata; The International Journal of Human Resource Management.
He is full member of AIP, the Italian Association of Psychology.
His main interests are: (a) Modern Theories of Leadership: Constructive-Destructive Leadership, Servant Leadership, Empowering Leadership, Social Identity Theory of Leadership. Measurement and applications in social and organizational contexts; (b) Construction/adaptation of measurement tools for psychosocial research and testing, particularly in the areas: leadership, power management, empowerment, resistance to social and organizational change, social desirability; (c) Attitudes, emotions and behaviors oriented towards sustainability, inclusion and social justice; (d) Individual, relational and collective quality of life: individual and family well-being; organizational and working well-being; work-family balance; (e) Psychology of collecting; (f) History of experimental and applied psychology (social and work) at the University of Padua.

- Leadership in groups and organizations (with a particular interest in Destructive-Constructive Leadership, Servant Leadership, and Empowering Leadership).
