Dear student, in order to evaluate your application please to send me an email with your name, surname and chosen destination in the subject. In the email, include the following information:
- Course of study and year for which you are currently enrolled
- the destination for which you are requesting to take the interview
- all the details of the highest level of English language certification in your possession (including date of issue and expiry), with scores in all 4 language skills. (any knowledge of other languages and certifications-scores obtained);
- your personal reasons for choosing this specific destination – no more than 250 words (see useful tips below)
- which other destinations you are considering and in what order of preference/priority
- a proposal or draft study plan to understand if the destination you indicate fits with your study plan, or if you find enough exams to replace from your plan for next year.
Please also specify if you intend to use the entire period abroad provided for by the scholarship or if you intend to reduce it for some reason and by how much (in this case the draft study plan must be adequate for the period you choose, at least in this preliminary evaluation phase).
Once I have received this information I will be able to give you feedback on whether I need further information or if a zoom interview is necessary to explore some further aspects related to your application.
Any interview will be held only upon my request, on a day and time agreed upon together.
Send me the email when it is complete with all the information requested, I prefer to receive it later but complete rather than immediately but with approximate information, for example if you plan to speak to your family during the Christmas holidays about your participation in the call it is better if you send me the email later. However, I advise you not to wait until January but to send it by the end of December.
MOTIVATIONAL STATEMENT (MAX 250 WORDS)
You could mention or comment on the following issues: why do you want to go on Erasmus? what do you expect/hope to achieve? why did you choose this country and this destination? (compared to others). How sure do you feel about your choice to leave and to leave for this destination? Have you already discussed it with your family? What is their opinion? Have you already been abroad? If so, where, for how long and why? What could prevent you from leaving? What would you do if you won the grant before leaving?
