2004 - 2008 Diploma from Post-Graduate School of Legal Medicine, University of Padova
2009 - 2012 PhD in Legal Medicine and Forensic Pathology at the School of Translational Forensic Medicine, University of Verona

2010 – 2017 Research assistant in Legal and Forensic Medicine at the Department of Molecular Medicine of the University of Padova
2018 – Present Associate Professor of Legal Medicine at the Department of Cardiological, Thoracic, Vascular Sciences and Public Health, University of Padova
Research fields
- Development of analytical methods for the quantitation of markers of alcohol abuse in human fluids and/or tissues (i.e. CDT, PEth, EtG, FAEE).
- Development of consensus documents in the field of transplantations of human organs.
- Applications of radiological and micro-radiological techniques to forensic anthropology and pathology (e.g., wound ballistics, tool identification in cutting crimes, neonatal medicine, etc.).
Scientific prizes
1st Prize in Best Oral Presentation Award at the XXI Congress of the International Academy of Legal Medicine, Lisbon May 28-30, 2009.

Co-author of about di 50 publications in international peer-reviewed journals with total impact factor of 110, total citations in SCOPUS of 460, h-index SCOPUS of 13.
