Mario PIVIDORI is associate professor in University of Padua since 2006. He hold curses in silviculture, tree farming and mountain forest management. His research activity is in the fields of broadleaved species silviculture (i):coppicing systems, silvicultural diagrams and models; Structure and evolution analysis in permanent research areas, silvicultural models, analysis of spacing ratio between stumps. stand evolution after wildfire. Industrial forestry and tree farming (ii): structure and evolution analysis in fast growing stands; seed stands for broadleaved species, development of new pruning systems. Afforestation (iii): seeding with microprotection system; afforestation in subalpine belt, underplanting in degradated sweet chesnut coppice stands. Fallow lands management (iv): neoformation stands in fallows in mountain and hill belt.
