Space Astronomy: scientific payloads and observing strategies for IR and sub-mm instrumentation. Deep cosmological surveys.
Statistics of extragalactic sources (galaxies, AGN, quasars) in radio, IR, optical and X-rays: luminosity functions, cosmological
evolution. Mm, IR ed X-ray cosmic backgrounds: origin and contributions by galactic and extragalactic sources. Galaxy photometry
in radio, mm, IR and optical. Models of spectrophotometric evolution of galaxies, formation of spheroidal galaxies.
