Scientific activity

After extensive experience in the field of soil tillage, scientific interest has turned to the sector of forage harvesting and conservation in a mountain region. Subsequently, the research activity was transferred entirely to the supply of timber, analyzing the technological and organizational, ergonomic and safety, ecological and environmental aspects of the supply chains. In this period, the activity expanded to also include the procurement of woody biomass, from the collection of the material to the analysis of obtainable biofuels

Coordinator of the IP "International Summer School Integrated Rural Road Network Re-enginering" funded under the ERASMUS LLP Program (a.y. 2011-2012 and a.y. 2012-2013)
As part of the Teaching Staff Mobility of the SOCRATES / ERASMUS program, cycles of lectures were held at the Escuela Universitaria de Gandia of the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia (Spain), the Forstlichebundesausbildungstätte in Ossiach (Austria) (as part of the "Seilkrankurs für Studenten europäischer Universitäten "in cooperation with Universität für Bodenkultur in Wien, Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule in Zurich, Dresden Universität In Dresden and Technische Universität in Munchen), the Mendelova zemědělská a lesnická univerzita in Brno (Czech Republic). Student workshops were held at the Forstliche Arbeitswissenschaft und Angewande Informatik of the Technische Universität of Munchen (Germany), the Universität für Bodenkultur in Wien (Austria), the Beijing Forest University (China)
