Luca Agostinetto is Associate Professor in General and Social Pedagogy (M-PED/01) at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology - University of Padova, where he teaches Intercultural Education in the Degree Course of Primary Education and General and Social Pedagogy in the Degree Course of Education Science. He is member of the PHD course in “Pedagogy and educational sciences”, Vice-Director of MAs in “Organization and Management of School Institutions in multicultural contexts” and responsible persons for some Erasmus exchange programs.
His research topics are pedagogical epistemology and modelling approach; pedagogical models and educational tools for practice; intercultural education, in particular about the educational inclusion, the pedagogical planning and the social perception of cultural diversity; Unaccompanied Children and Refugees. He works on training for educational professionals and he is pedagogic consultant of public and private institutions.
He is President of Pedagogical Committee of FVG Region (l.r. 20/2005, C.14) and He is Editorial Office Secretary of the "Studium Educationis" scientific journal. In addition to be currently Secretary of SIPED (Italian Society of Pedagogy), he is member of the following scientific society, EARLI (European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction), IAIE (International Association for Intercultural Education), CIRPED (Italian Centre of Pedagogical Studies), research groups (GRISU, GRISPSI, CIPI) and scientific committee (CSOE, CESFET, COGES).
