Official documents and publications

The instructions are published in this section as indicated in the admissions notice

The procedures and requirements for accessing the degree programme are set out in the admissions notice. Once these requirements have been met, and within the prescribed deadlines, it is possible to submit an application for enrolment, degree programme change or incoming transfer by following the instructions provided on the dedicated page.

Admission information at a glance

The information below is intended to provide a general overview of the course admission procedures, in order to facilitate completion of the required steps. However, it is still necessary to read the admissions notice, the official document for admission to the course.

To access the first year, it is necessary to pre-enrol, update the qualification award details used for admission (date and final mark), and submit the application for assessment of the curricular requirements.
Once eligibility has been obtained following the assessment of the curricular requirements (visible within the pre-enrolment process in the Uniweb portal), it is possible to submit an online enrolment application by following the instructions provided on the dedicated page.

The period during which it is possible to submit the application (including payment of the first instalment for the 2026/27 academic year) is indicated in the admissions notice. Enrolment is finalised automatically with the assignment of the student ID number after the registration of the award of the admission qualification and the necessary administrative checks.

Please note: anyone accessing the programme using a first-cycle degree qualification (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) awarded abroad must follow the procedures and meet the deadlines indicated on the page https://www.unipd.it/ammissione-studenti-internazionali.

Changing degree programme to access the first year, from a procedural point of view, differs from standard enrolment only as regards the final stage of the process: it is therefore necessary to follow the same procedures as other students, pre-enrolling and submitting an application for assessment of the curricular requirements.
Once eligibility has been obtained following the assessment of the curricular requirements (visible within the pre-enrolment process on the Uniweb portal), instead of requesting enrolment, an application for changing degree programme must be submitted.

There are financial implications in choosing between changing degree programme and enrolment: information on this is available in a dedicated document on the page https://www.unipd.it/cambi-corso.

Changing degree programme does not imply the automatic transfer of any exams/activities already completed from previous academic careers to the new one. Those concerned must submit a specific online application for credit recognition as indicated in the paragraph "In brief: career shortening". Access arrangements vary depending on the recognitions and the proposed year of admission.

Information on the requirements and procedures to be followed in order to request a change of degree programme is available on the page https://www.unipd.it/cambi-corso.

Changing degree programme is available only from 1 September until 30 October 2026.

Warning: anyone accessing the programme using a first-cycle degree qualification (three-year degree or equivalent) obtained abroad must follow the procedures and meet the deadlines indicated on the page https://www.unipd.it/en/degree-programme-change.

The transfer from another university to enter the first year, from a procedural point of view, differs from standard enrolment only in the final stage of the process: it is therefore necessary to follow the same procedures as other students, pre-enrolling and submitting an application for assessment of curricular requirements.
Once eligibility has been obtained following the assessment of curricular requirements (visible within the pre-enrolment section on the Uniweb portal), instead of requesting enrolment, an application for incoming transfer must be submitted. It is also necessary to follow the procedures for requesting transfer out at your home university.

There are financial implications relating to the choice between transferring from another university and enrolling: information on this is available in a dedicated document on the page https://www.unipd.it/trasferirsi-altro-ateneo.

Incoming transfer does not imply the automatic transfer of any exams/activities already completed in previous academic careers to the new one. Those concerned must submit a specific online application for recognition as indicated in the paragraph "In brief: career shortening". The admission procedures vary depending on the recognitions and the proposed year of admission, whether the first year or a subsequent year.

Information on the requirements and procedures to follow in order to request a transfer from another university is available on the page https://www.unipd.it/trasferirsi-altro-ateneo.

Transfer is available only from 15 July until 30 October 2026.

Please note: those who access the course using a first-cycle degree qualification (three-year degree or equivalent) obtained abroad must follow the procedures and meet the deadlines set out on the page https://www.unipd.it/ammissione-studenti-internazionali.

It is possible to request recognition of certified academic and professional activities, and of exams already taken (including abroad), such as single courses or courses from previous university careers, so that they do not have to be taken again in the Degree Programme that will be followed at the University of Padua.

The request for credit recognition must be submitted by following a dedicated online procedure, at the same time as the application for assessment of curricular requirements.

The university educational credits necessary to meet the minimum curricular requirements, or those included in the qualification used to access the course, are not considered for career shortening.

The appointed committee issues a resolution containing the list of recognised exams and activities and the proposed year of admission.
After obtaining eligibility for the requirements and admission to the course, and the credit recognition resolution, it is possible to proceed with enrolment, changing Degree Programme, incoming transfer or simultaneous enrolment, as indicated on the page https://www.unipd.it/istruzioniaccesso-triennali-magistrali-ciclounico.

The entry of validations and recognitions in the online record book is carried out by the relevant Back Office by the first exam session scheduled for the academic year 2026/27, without the need for any further procedures or requests.

For questions and assistance regarding the submission of the credit recognition request, the issuing of resolutions and the entry of recognised exams in the new career, it is possible to contact the relevant back office for the course of interest: https://www.unipd.it/backoffice-carriere-studenti.
