Those who access using a qualification obtained abroad must follow the procedures and deadlines shown on page https://www.unipd.it/ammissione-studenti-internazionali.
Instructions are published in this section as indicated in the admissions notice
The procedures and requirements for access to the course are reported in the admissions notice. Once these requirements have been met, and within the deadlines, it is possible to apply for enrolment, change of course or incoming transfer by following the instructions on the dedicated page.
The following information is intended to provide a general idea of the procedures for accessing the courses, to facilitate the carrying out of the planned steps. However, it is necessary to read the admissions notice, an official document for access to the course.
To access the first year, it is necessary to pre-enrol, update the data of the qualification used for access (date and final grade) and submit the application for evaluation of curricular requirements.
Once you have obtained eligibility following the assessment of curricular requirements (visible in the pre-enrolment form on the Uniweb portal) you can apply for enrolment online by following the instructions on the dedicated page.
The period in which it is possible to apply (complete with payment of the first instalment for the A.Y.. 2026/27) is reported in the admissions notice. The enrolment is completed ex officio with the assignment of the matriculation number after the registration of the achievement of the access qualification and the necessary administrative checks.
Please note: those who access the course using a bachelor's degree (three-year degree or equivalent) obtained abroad must follow the procedures and meet the deadlines on page https://www.unipd.it/ammissione-studenti-internazionali.
The change of course to access the first year, at the procedural level, differs from the standard enrolment only with regard to the final phase of the process: it is therefore necessary to follow the procedures like other students, pre-enrolling and submitting an application for evaluation of curricular requirements.
Once the eligibility has been obtained following the evaluation of curricular requirements (visible within the pre-enrolment on the Uniweb portal) instead of requesting enrolment, the application for change of course must be submitted.
There are economic implications with respect to the choice between course change and enrolment: information on this is available in a dedicated document, on page https://www.unipd.it/cambi-corso.
The change of course does not imply the automatic transfer of any exams/activities already taken from previous careers to the new one. Interested parties must submit a specific application for the recognition of credits online as indicated in the paragraph "In brief: Career shortening". The methods of access vary according to the recognitions and the year of admission proposed.
Information on the requirements and procedures to follow to request a course change is available on page https://www.unipd.it/cambi-corso.
The Course Change is only available from 1 September until 30 October 2026.
Please note: those who access the course using a Bachelor's degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) obtained abroad must follow the procedures and meet the deadlines on page https://www.unipd.it/en/degree-programme-change
The transfer from another university to access the first year, at the procedural level, differs from standard enrolment only with regard to the final phase of the process: it is therefore necessary to follow the procedures like other students, pre-enrolling and submitting an application for evaluation of curricular requirements.
Once the eligibility has been obtained following the evaluation of the curricular requirements (visible within the pre-enrolment on the Uniweb portal) instead of requesting enrolment, the application for incoming transfer must be submitted. It is also necessary to follow the procedures for requesting an outgoing transfer to one's home university.
There are economic implications with respect to the choice between transferring from another university and enrolment: information on this is available in a dedicated document, on page https://www.unipd.it/trasferirsi-altro-ateneo.
The incoming transfer does not imply the automatic transfer of any exams/activities already taken from previous careers to the new one. Interested parties must submit a specific online recognition application as indicated in the paragraph "In brief: Career shortening". The methods of access vary according to the recognitions and the year of admission proposed, the first or those subsequent to the first.
Information on the requirements and procedures to follow to request a transfer from another university is available on page https://www.unipd.it/trasferirsi-altro-ateneo.
The transfer is only available from July 15 and until October 30, 2026.
Please note: those who access the course using a bachelor's degree (three-year degree or equivalent) obtained abroad must follow the procedures and meet the deadlines on page https://www.unipd.it/ammissione-studenti-internazionali.
It is possible to request the recognition of certified academic and professional activities, exams taken (including abroad), as single courses or in previous university careers, so as not to have to take them again in the degree course that will be followed at the University of Padua.
The request for credit recognition must be submitted following a special online procedure, at the same time as the application for evaluation of curricular requirements.
University credits necessary to achieve the minimum curricular requirements, or those included in the qualification used to access the course, are not considered for career shortening.
The commission in charge issues a resolution with the list of recognized exams/activities and the proposed year of admission.
After obtaining eligibility for the requirements and admission to the course, and the resolution of recognition credits, it is possible to proceed with the enrolment, the course change, the incoming transfer or the simultaneous enrolment, as indicated on page www.unipd.it/istruzioniaccesso-triennali-magistrali-ciclounico
The validation / recognition in the online booklet is entered by the relevant Back Office within the first exam session scheduled for the A.Y. 2026/27, without the need for further procedures or requests.
For questions and assistance regarding the submission of the application for recognition credits, the issuance of resolutions and the inclusion of recognized exams in the new career, you can contact the back office of reference for the course of your interest: www.unipd.it/backoffice-carriere-studenti.
