Welcoming international students

In September and October, meetings are scheduled for international students enrolled in English-taught degree courses, including master's degrees, during which information is provided on dedicated services and teaching.

The presidents of the degree courses or their delegates, accompanied by tutors, welcome freshmen and women every year : an opportunity to introduce all students enrolled in the first year to the new cycle of university studies, to introduce them to the organization of teaching, services and opportunities

The Immigration Support Service desk (SAOS) organizes a series of weekly online meetings to explain how to complete the residence permit application. The webinars are held every Thursday from 12p.m. to 1 p.m., from 17 September to 15 October.

In September and October, international students enrolled in the first year have the opportunity to explore and get to know the university facilities, canteens, study rooms and libraries accompanied by university students. The tours available follow two alternative routes: one located in the center of Padova and one in the Piovego / hospitals area.

A 10-hour course designed for international students enrolled in the first year, with the aim of helping them develop intercultural skills and apply them concretely in everyday life, also addressing global challenges, such as the protection of human rights, global health, gender equality and environmental protection. At the end of the course, students receive an open badge.

It is aimed at international students with the aim of fostering engagement in dialogue on the role of young people as key actors in the promotion of inclusion and multiculturalism.
