Reception for international professors and researchers
The University of Padova promotes international mobility through a network of integrated services for professors, researchers, PhDs and PhDs from abroad. The aim is to encourage the exchange of skills, cultural and social enrichment and above all to generate opportunities for discussion with different teaching and scientific research methods, collaborating with leading research groups in the various scientific-disciplinary sectors, facilitating mobility to share scientific and academic results and at the same time promoting the dissemination of Italian culture abroad.
The International Relations offices and the Saos Desk (Foreign Guest Reception Service) support foreign professors, researchers and scholars visiting Padova, for short or long stays.
The SAOS Desk provides assistance to guests and University facilities regarding the procedures and Italian regulations on entry for study, research and family reasons.

The International Relations offices provide international guests with material in English on the University and the city of Padova to make their stay easier and more enjoyable.
Furthermore, considering the individual needs of each guest, the office offers different housing solutions (guesthouses, residences, hotels...) allowing you to identify the one that best meets your needs.
