    ABSTRACT

Objectivist paradigm describes reality as a universal and indipendent truth tha rational mind can reflect in an objective way. Constructivist paradigm considers man in a biological, historical, social, and technological dimension, as a constructor of knowledge through experience, thanks to an active, collaborative apprehendship that shows a personal interpretation of the world.
    Thus:

    Objectivist conception:

Knowledge = not historical, universal, unified truth that supposes the existence of an external, objectiv truth. It is reflected in teaching like trasmission of knowledges, skills, student is like a “Tabula Rasa” to fill up.

    Constructivist Conception:

Knowledge = Built product ( Historically, socially, temporally)
    M. David Merrill (1922) shows the assumptins of constructivism:
    1. Knowledge is built up on the bases of experience.
    2. Apprehendship is conceived as a personal interpretation of the world.
    3. Apprehendship is active, it develops its meaning on the bases of experience.
    4. Apprehendship is cooperative, its meaning depends on many prospects.
    5. Apprehendship is situated because it happens in real settings.
    6. Evaluation is included in the work and it is not an activity distinctly considered.
Constructivism opens post- modern thought characterized as iperspatial, opened to the ironical and contingent polycentrism. The passage of paradigm is a passage from the age of the didactical projectation through concepts and objectives, to the age of apprehenship through projects and meanings.
