INTRODUCTION
CIST is a pilot project that availes itself of telematic supports to develop cooperative learning strategies among university students within Istructional Technology. Up to now this experience has refererd to two small groups of students, with their teachers, from the university of Padua and Florence.
The students consider texts which are of particular relevance on the international level, they compile abstracts after a discussion with fellow students, teachers and experts both local and distant. A particular importance is given to the metacognitive dimension ( the consideration of cooperative ways and methods ) to develop general skills in research.
There's the intention to extend this experience to a larger number of university students ( national and international ).
