Social Networks Security, Privacy, and Trust

The "2016 International Summer School on Social Networks Security, Privacy, and Trust" (SNSPT) is going on this week at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Padova, organized in conjunction by the SPRITZ Security and Privacy Research Group of the University (also affiliated with the HIT - Human Inspired Technology Research Center) and the Trustworthy and Secure Future Internet Group of the IIT (Istituto di Informatica and Telematica) of the National Research Council (CNR).

The school aims at bringing together members from the international security research community to debate contemporary issues in Online Social Networks trust, privacy and security. Lectures are given by world-leading professors from Europe and USA, to participants coming from all over the world.

The summer school covers important and actual topics such as access control on Social Networks, security versus attacks, detection of mutual friends while protecting the privacy of the individuals, analysis of financial networks,  misinformation spread.

Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the above topics in open forum, opening the way for new research activities, and to visit the Palazzo Bo and the city of Padova.
