Guided tours to Palazzo Bo
Self-guided tours are not available at Palazzo Bo: access to the building is only possible by guided tour.
The guided tour of Palazzo Bo includes the anatomical theatre, the Galileo Galilei’s Aula Magna, the Sala dei Quaranta (The “Hall of the Forty”) and the Aula di Medicina (where lectures on medicine were originally given). From Monday to Saturday.
Tour guides speak Italian and English.
The airport nearest to Padova is the Marco Polo International Airport (about 30 Km). Connections are provided by a bus service (Busitalia), running every half an hour to the Padova train Station, which is close to the city centre. From there you can reach Palazzo Bo on foot in aboout 15 minutes. There is a also a tram service - Sir 1 line - running every 10 minutes from the station to the vicinity of Palazzo Bo (Ponti romani tram stop).
Palazzo Bo lies in a limited traffic area (ZTL) where cars are not allowed without a special permission. The nearest parking lots can be found in Prato della Valle area (15 minutes, on foot).
The "UP" University store is located inside Palazzo del Bo and has been opened to visitors since March 2002. The store was created and designed with the intention of making both students and visitors familiar with the history and traditions that have made the University famous throughout the world. Occupying 80 square metres, the shop offers merchandise such as caps, T-shirts, pens, scarves, watches and postcards, all bearing the University crest.
Purchases may also be made online through the e-commerce site.
Well-trained staff are on hand to help student and tourist with information regarding the University.
Guided tours to the Hall of the Giants at Palazzo Liviano
Visits are suspended July 2 - August 20, 2016. In that period guided tours can be organised by sending a request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Usually tours take place on Saturday mornings, at 10.30 and 11.30.

Tours and guided tours of the Botanical Garden
Guided tours of the Botanical Garden are available by booking, both for schools and for groups. The itinerary will lead the visitor to the discovery of the oldest University Botanical Garden of the world.

Guided tours to the museum La Specola
The ancient astronomic observatory of Padova.
Schools and groups (up to 25 persons) have to book in advance (15 days, if possible). Reservations are not required for individuals.
