A joint initiative between the Coimbra Group (CG), of which the University of Padova is a member, and the Coimbra Group of Brazilian Universities (CGBU) with the aim of supporting mobility of PhD students/researchers/professors among institutions of both networks. All opportunities available are described on the dedicated platform.

The programme is run by the University of Coimbra.

The International Relations Office has launched the first Short Film Contest edition “Being mobile matters” with the aim to promote the International Mobility. University of Padova Incoming and Outgoing students during the a.y. 2016/2017 can participate. Applicants are required to shoot and submit original short movies in English language describing their mobility experience. The contest purpose is to boost the internationalization process spurring the viewers to participate in similar Mobility Programme. The contest  starts on Monday April 11  and closes on Friday July 28, 2017.

To participate in the contest, applicants shall fill in the online form.

Internationalisation has always been an important priority for the University of Padova. With nearly 250 bilateral agreements, the University has established long-standing relationships with Higher Education Institutions all over the world, not only in Europe but also in Africa, North and South America, Asia and the Middle East, aimed at encouraging international exchanges of teaching and administrative staff as well as students at all degree levels. These bilateral agreements reflect various forms of cooperation, which also include activities such as joint publications and exchange of information, to improve academic cooperation.

The University of Padova is member of the Coimbra Group Network, an association of long-established European multidisciplinary universities of high international standard.

A large number of the member universities participate in the Coimbra Group Student Exchange Network (SEN) which aims to promote and enhance an inner network exchange at all levels and academic disciplines.

Students moving within the framework of the Coimbra Group Student Exchange Network will not be charged tuition fees and may receive grants depending on their home university.
The students will receive recognition for course work successfully completed during their stay at the host university. In addition, all students will have access to support services at the host university.

Who can participate?
Students enrolled at the Coimbra Group Universities (participating in SEN) at all levels and academic disciplines who meet the general academic criteria and language requirements specified by the Coimbra Group SEN member universities.

The US - Italy Fulbright Commission assists prospective, future and present grantees by providing an information service for study and research opportunities in the United States and Italy.

Fulbright grants to Italy are awarded for teaching, to carry out a study or research project, to serve as expert consultants on curriculum, faculty development, institutional planning and related subjects at Italian universities. Grants are also awarded to assist English language teachers in Italian high schools.
Applicants should have sufficient proficiency in written and spoken Italian to carry out their project.
