17-12-2009 The "Biblioteca d'Africa" (Library of Africa)is a aection of the "Biblioteca Brenta Venezia" (via San Marco, 300, in Ponte di Brenta, province of Padua); it is completely centred on the African world, as well as its authors and publications. The Biblioteca d'Africa has been realized thanks to the activities of the C.I.R.S.S.I. (Centro interdipartimentale di ricerca e servizi per gli studi interculturali dell'Universitą di Padova), the Quartiere n. 3 Est, the Comitato pari opportunitą of the University of Padua, the Comune and the Provincia of Padua. The aim of the promoters is to introduce the knowledge of the several cultural and artistic African heritages to people that usually has not a specific information about it.
